Workshop

We can build and deliver a custom precision rifle within 8 to 12 weeks. However, due to the current situation with the supply chain and how the industry is working, the delivery time for a custom rifle can take up to 6 months. Of course, this delay can considerably vary depending of the components required for your build.

Please ask our staff if you want to get a rough estimation. Don't forget to provide as much information as possible about what you are looking for and if a particular deadline must be honored (e,g. before a major event is taking place, such as a competition).

Yes, we can build 'semi-custom' rifles with parts and components already assembled if that is what you desire. We frequently build competition rifles from barrelled-actions that can perform exceptionally well. If you already have the components, in particular the serialized parts such as the action, we can figure out a way to use them for a new build.

A benefit of semi-custom rifles is the lower leading times.

Yes, we do assemble semi-automatic rifles for platforms such as the AR15 and AR10. However, we are not offering 'precision' builds per se. In fact, accurizing semi-automatic carbines and rifles require special tooling and skills that we do not have. It requires very advanced techniques that only a few reputable workshops do possess. Therefore, we cannot provide such services at this time of writing.

However, if you desire to have a custom semi-auto rifle that perform reliably and accurately within 1 MOA we can definitively offer something up to that task.

Please note that some modifications cannot be performed without breaking the Federal law on firearms and accessories, such as shortening and re-crowning a barrel.

We would love to. Unfortunately accuracy and precision can hardly be guaranteed despite claims made by some manufacturers and dealers.

However, rest assured that we have built enough rifles that can perform under 1/4 MOA in the hand of a competent shooter that we know what to do and more importantly what not to do. As we are ourself shooters, we have first-hand experience of our own methods and techniques. Some of these proven techniques are what differentiate us from the competition and so the called 'gun-shop'.

If requested we can test your rifle before shipping and provide you a honest assessment of its capabilities. We can also provide hard data on the projectiles velocities, chamber/reamer specifications (when available) and even on potential accuracy nodes.

To our knowledge there is no official definition of what long range (LR) and Extreme Long Range (ELR) are. At Circle-10 Gunworks we classify ranges as follow:

  • Short Ranges (SR): 0-300 meters
  • Medium Ranges (MR): 300-700 meters
  • Long Ranges (LR): 700-1200 meters
  • Extreme Long Ranges (ELR): 1200+ meters

To us, ranges are not as important as 'fly time'. As an example, 300 meters for a .22 long rifle may be considered as long range, versus medium/short range for a .308 Winchester.

At this time of writing, we do not build rifles for ELR competitions. In fact, it requires special craftsmanship and tooling we do not possess.

Case Annealing

Sometimes the cases shows very few or no discoloration at all after the annealing process. This is due in part to the chemical composition of your cases. However, it does not mean the annealing process was not successful, your cases are more than likely softer now. While working your brass and seating your bullets, you should feel and even measure the difference in hardness.

Yes, we recommend you clean your brass back from our annealing service. A thin layer of oxide will form on annealed brass, in particular in the neck / shoulder areas. This layer may increase friction with your projectiles and therefore may introduce inconsistencies. You can also alleviate this issue by simply using a lubricant inside your cases necks.

It could be due to a variety of reasons. 90 percent of the time it's because we do not yet have the pilot necessary to anneal your particular brass. Please ask our team about it, and we may add your caliber very soon. Obviously, we cannot support all the case types in the world, some are so exotic we may not supported them currently but we may find a way to anneal them in the future.
